The Aberdeen Wings Hockey team is one of the best things to do in the winter!

If you’re in Aberdeen anytime between September and April, you might just get invited to an Aberdeen Wings game. The team is kind of the pride and joy of the community.

What are the Aberdeen Wings?

The Aberdeen Wings are a junior hockey team that plays in the North American Hockey League. Team members are in their late teens and come from all over the world.

How long have they been here?

The 2020-21 season is the 11th for the team. This will be the 46th season for the NAHL.

Where is their home ice?

The Odde Ice Arena, 400 24th Ave N.W.

Are they any good?

Would you call being a national champion good? In 2019, the Aberdeen Wings brought home the Robertson Cup, which is the trophy of the NAHL championship.

Winger, he’s half human, half pheasant, all hockey.

When are games?

Generally Friday and Saturday night, although there are some weeknight games occasionally. Find a full schedule here.
