Getting Here

Flying In

The Aberdeen Regional Airport (ABR) operates Delta Airline flights daily. We are a quick flight from Minneapolis, a Delta hub, so it’s easy to get to us, regardless of where you’re coming from.

Three businesses also charter flights in and out of the Aberdeen Regional Airport:

Road Trip

We’re a quick drive from a number of major metropolitans including Bismark, Fargo, Minneapolis and Omaha. We’re a great weekend-getaway spot for neighboring states: Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming and Montana.

Compassionate Healthcare Options

If your trip requires a trip to the doctor (emergent or not) we’ve got you covered.

Avera St. Luke’s Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center with an emergency department. The Don & Carmen Meyer Center of Excellence is home to the area’s Avera Cancer Institute. Urgent care is available on nights and weekends while AveraNow mobile video visits are available 24/7.

Sandford Aberdeen Medical Center is a full-service regional hospital providing comprehensive care including specialty care and emergency care. Urgent care is available on nights and weekends and you can get your health questions answered day or night via My Sanford Nurse.

College Pride in Aberdeen

We were recently ranked by USA Today College as the second best small college town in the US. (We’re pretty hip.)

Aberdeen boasts two colleges where you can find athletics, arts, and culture happening year round. Northern State University, home of the wolves, has a student body of about 3,600, hosts a full line-up of men’s and women’s sports, and maintains an impressive calendar of fine-art events. The area’s private college, Presentation College, offers signature nursing programs, a variety of exhibits at the Wein Gallery, and athletic events every season. Attend an event for a chance to meet the PC Saint’s mascot, Spirit the Saint Bernard.

Places of Worship in Aberdeen
