Mina Lake Freedom Festival
Starting July 3, the Mina Lake Freedom Festival offers a little bit of everything for you and your family. 5K run/2-mile fun walk/kin run, fishing, kid’s fun zone (bouncy house, face painting, games, prizes), nights of live music and of course the fireworks extravaganza!
Richmond Lake Fireworks
Annual Fireworks Display will commence just after dark at the Edwards Preserve Point on Richmond Lake. Park around the lake or watch from the water!

4th Of July Weekend
We’re firing up the fun for Fourth of July Weekend! Join us Thursday, July 4th to Sunday, July 7th for a fun-filled celebration where all Active and Retired Military can enjoy a FREE 2-hour Unlimited Attractions Package. This special package includes Laser Tag, Mini Bowling, Bumper Cars, Climbing Wall, and a $12 Arcade Game Card! Present your Military ID at the time of purchase.

Wylie Park
Bring the entire family to Wylie Park on the 4th of July for a fun-filled day. Be a part of this special day sponsored by the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
- 7 p.m. Storybook Land Theatre performs in the Castle.
- 8:30 p.m. The Aberdeen Municipal Band will perform.
- Dusk: The fireworks display will take place.
Aberdeen Aqua Addicts
The Aberdeen Aqua Addicts will present “TOP GUN The Ski Academy.” It is a story of a training program that teaches water maneuvering tactics and show-skiing techniques to a handful of selected water skiers. Those that can graduate from TOP GUN will be considered one of the world’s most elite water skiers!!
- July 4 at 7 p.m., Dahme Lake, 3301 S. U.S. Highway 281; $7 for adults, $3 for students.
Brown County Speedway
After the Friday night races on July 5, catch a fireworks spectacular at the Brown County Fairgrounds! Doors open at 5 p.m., racing starts at 7 p.m. Adult general admission is $18.
