As part of the Aberdeen Hotel Alliance mission, we make funds available to businesses and organizations looking to host events in Aberdeen that will require overnight stays in our hotels and motels. Funds are awarded based on our published criteria, requirements, and restrictions.

Step 1
Before beginning this grant application make sure you have consulted with the Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. (Failure to register your event prior to submitting an Aberdeen Hotel Alliance Sponsorship Grant Funding request will result in application denial.)

Step 2
*You will need to submit your event to the Aberdeen Area Calendar of Events prior to requesting Aberdeen Hotel Alliance Funding. Here is the link to submit your event. www.AberdeenAreaEvents.com.

Step 3
*Make sure you collect the following information needed prior to starting the sponsorship grant application.

  • Have you contacted the Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau to register your event(s)?
  • Your organization’s tax ID and a completed W-9 form.
  • Your event marketing plan.
  • Your event budget.
  • A document outlining the fundraising events to-date
  • A document describing how Aberdeen Hotel Alliance Sponsorship Fund will be utilized

Step 4
*Please note, the Aberdeen Hotel Alliance and the Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau will need to be listed as a sponsor on any and all social media, electronic, and print marketing for your organization/event.

Step 5
Please review the Aberdeen Hotel Alliance Sponsorship Funding Requests Criteria, Requirements, and Restrictions. If your application appears to meet all Criteria, Requirements, and Restrictions, proceed to filling out the Aberdeen Hotel Alliance Sponsorship Funding Application.

The Aberdeen Hotel Alliance Sponsorship Grant Funding criteria, requirements, and restrictions are clearly defined for submitting an application.
