The loading station is an authentic 1881 train depot that recaptures the excitement and history of the railroad era when Aberdeen earned its nickname the Hub City. Jump aboard daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day between 10a and 9p. Tickets are $2.25 each and can be purchased in the Visitors Center.

Magic and Wonder

Surrounded by a moat and guarded by knights in shining armor, the medieval style castle is home to many special events and performances. It is home to the national award-winning Storybook Land Theatre Company that presents a series of children’s plays each summer. Three performances are presented each week from mid-June to early August. Take part in the magic on
Tuesdays at 10:00a, Wednesdays at 7:00p and Fridays at 7:00p. The castle is available to rent for group picnics, receptions and special events as well.
