WALKING TOUR OF MAIN STREET HISTORIC DISTRICT
Celebrate Historic Preservation Month with a Guided Tour of Aberdeen’s historic Main Street. On this leisurely, 1 1/2 hour plus tour, you will learn the unique history behind the builders, buildings and businesses of Main Street. The walking tour will be lead by Troy McQuillen and held on Thursday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m., and will begin at the parking lot north of the Dacotah Prairie Museum. Those interested in taking the tour must place their name on the interest list at the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department Office by Friday, May 1. There is no fee for this activity. Participation is limited to 15 people.
