WALKING TOUR OF HAGERTY & LLOYD HISTORIC DISTRICT
Take a guided tour during Historic Preservation Month through one of Aberdeen’s oldest residential neighborhoods, the Hagerty & Lloyd Historic District, and experience history coming to life. This leisurely, 1 1/2 hour plus walk will be led by Troy McQuillen and will be held on Tuesday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m. People should meet at the Aberdeen Recreation & Cultural Center, 225 3rd Ave. SE at the east doors. Participants should put their name on the interest list at the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department Office by Friday, May 1. There is no fee for this activity. Participation is limited to 15 people.
