Are you ready for the 20th Annual Storybook Land Festival?
For two decades, this free, family-favorite event has been bringing stories to life—filling summer with laughter, imagination, and unforgettable memories for kids of all ages.

- Day 1: 4:00–8:00 PM
- Day 2: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Get ready for a weekend full of fun!
Friday Night Fun:
Kick things off with ($15.00) unlimited ride wristbands for Storybook Land attractions—perfect for an evening of excitement! Don’t miss a special Storybook Land Theatre performance in the castle! Grab the kids and enjoy a magical night of rides and live entertainment.
Saturday Adventures:
The fun continues with a full day of activities designed for kids to explore, play, and let their imaginations run wild!
- Bubble-filled excitement and hands-on experiments with Absolute Science, featuring megafoam blasters and live science shows
- Meet storybook characters and create fun crafts to take home
- Choose a free book at the “Adopt a Book” station and start a new adventure
- Get creative (and a little messy!) making seed bombs
- Jump, bounce, and play on inflatables
- Enjoy live Storybook Land Theatre performances
- Sing, dance, and have fun with live entertainment at Sertoma Plaza, including Stan Shelnutt
- Watch artist Aaron Bigelow bring characters to life with live drawings and doodles
- Meet children’s author Stephanie Logue and explore her stories
- Add some color with face painting and balloon twisting
Plus, step back in time!
Visit the Dacotah Prairie Museum area for hands-on, old-fashioned fun. Play classic games, try tin punching, and enjoy creative coloring activities. Take a look at historic photos of Storybook Land and Wylie Park and see how generations of families have made memories here.
