K.O. Lee Library Medicare and You
Join us for an informative session on Medicare presented by Deb Ross from the Senior Health Information and Insurance Education (SHIINE) program. This free program provides clear, unbiased, and confidential information about Medicare to help you make informed decisions about your healthcare coverage. SHIINE is federally funded and staffed by trained professionals and volunteers who specialize in Medicare education. In this session, you’ll learn the basics of Medicare, your coverage options, and how to identify and prevent fraud to protect your benefits. Whether you’re new to Medicare or helping a loved one navigate their options, this session will equip you with the knowledge you need in a supportive, no-pressure environment. This project was supported in part by grant numbers 90MPPG0073, 90SAPG0075, 2201SDMISH, 2201SDMIAA, and 2201SDMIDR from the U.S. Administration for Community Living, Department of Health and Human Services, Washington, D.C. 20201, as well as South Dakota Department of Human Services.
