Gypsy Day Parade

Get ready to celebrate as Northern State University announces that registration for the 2026 Gypsy Day Parade is officially open! This year’s homecoming theme, “125 Year Anniversary,” invites participants to honor Northern’s rich history and celebrate a remarkable milestone. The parade will cap off the 2026 Gypsy Days Homecoming Week, set for Monday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 27.

The Gypsy Day Parade takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, beginning at 9 a.m. Parade entries are encouraged to draw inspiration from Northern’s 125 years of history, tradition and community pride. Participants can sign up their floats and walking groups by visiting northern.edu/gypsy-days.
