Community Celebration: Free Concert in the Park

Live performance by the Minneapolis-based nine-piece, Latin American orchestra, Salsa Del Soul. Bomba, Merengue and of course Salsa your way to Central Park on Saturday, for a festive outdoor concert like no other!
On Saturday, June 28th at Central Park, K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, The Aberdeen Library Foundation, the Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department present Salsa Del Soul! This nine-piece Latin American orchestra has been bringing Caribbean-inspired dance music for over a decade throughout the Midwest! But don’t just come for the concert! Even before Salsa Del Soul takes the stage, residents are invited to an outdoor “Block Party.” Starting at 4 P.M., Central Park will be abuzz with local food, live art, outdoor games and even Zumba on the lawn!
The activities kick off at 4 P.M. in Central Park, followed by Salsa Del Soul’s Aberdeen debut at 6 P.M. If there’s poor weather, the activities and concert will be moved to K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library.
