2025 ABBY Awards – A night to celebrate leaders, champions & business excellence

Join us in honoring and celebrating the individuals, businesses, and organizations that are leading and inspiring our community! The evening will include the graduation of the 2025 Leadership Aberdeen Class and the presentation of the following individual and business awards:

Chamber Awards

Chamber Rockstar Award – The Chamber Rockstar Award celebrates an individual that has gone above and beyond to support the Chamber and their fellow volunteers. Their efforts not only elevate their own ventures but also uplift the entire Chamber, making them true rockstars for our organization
Chamber Business Champion Award – The Chamber Champion Award recognizes a Chamber business or organization that has demonstrated exceptional advocacy for the mission of the Chamber. They have been active in supporting and promoting Chamber programs and initiatives through their leadership, involvement and dedication.
Spark Award – The Spark Award recognizes a new Chamber member (within last calendar year) that has made an immediate and impactful contribution to the organization and the local business community. The award shines a light on those who ignite positive change and embody the spirit of our Chamber, setting a dynamic example for others to follow!

Individual Awards

(4) Top 4 Under 40 – The Top 4 Under 40 program that honors the contributions of young leaders in our community and region. To qualify for the award, nominees must be between the ages of 25 and 39, residents of Aberdeen and/or Brown County, and demonstrate the qualities of a true leader. They should be on a path to, or have already made, a positive impact on our community through their careers, civic engagement, personal initiatives, or philanthropic efforts. Their presence enhances our community and region, making it a better place for everyone.
Legacy of Service – The Legacy of Service Award honors an individual whose dedication has made a lasting impact on the community. Recipients are celebrated not only for their exemplary service but also for inspiring others to follow in their footsteps, fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and community engagement. Through their actions, they have created a meaningful legacy that continues to influence and uplift those around them.

ViTality Award – The ViTality Award honors the legacy of a true Aberdeen visionary, Vi Stoia, whose forward-thinking and progressive attitude, played a pivotal role in advancing local and regional development. This award is given to someone who demonstrates similar leadership by fostering relationships, connecting resources, and driving positive change for the economic growth of the Aberdeen community and surrounding region.

Business Awards

Community Impact Award – The Community Impact Award recognizes a business that has made a significant and positive difference in the community through their dedication, contributions, service, and initiatives.. Their impact serves as a testament to the power of community involvement and leadership, making them true pillars of our society. (replaces Community Involvement)
Customer Care Award – The Customer Care Award honors a business that exemplifies outstanding customer service and support. This award recognizes those who consistently go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for every customer. Their dedication to exceptional care not only enhances customer satisfaction but also sets a standard for excellence within the organization, inspiring others to prioritize the customer experience. (replaces Customer Service)
Heart of Service Award – The Heart of Service Award recognizes a non-profit organization that exemplifies compassion, dedication, and a genuine commitment to serving others. Recipients are honored for their ability to make meaningful connections and positively impact the lives of those they serve. Their heartfelt approach to service inspires others to embrace a spirit of generosity and community, making them true ambassadors of care and compassion. (replaces community Involvement non-profit)
Wellness Warrior Award – The Wellness Warrior Award honors a business or organization that has made significant contributions to promoting health and well-being within their business and the community. Recipients are celebrated for their innovative programs, outreach efforts, and commitment to creating a supportive environment for wellness. Their dedication to fostering a culture of health not only benefits individuals but also strengthens the overall community, making them true warriors in the pursuit of well-being. (replaces Health & Wellness)
Cultivator of Progress Award – The Cultivator of Progress Award recognizes a business or organization that actively drives positive change and innovation within the agribusiness, manufacturing, or technology sectors. Recipients are celebrated for their commitment to developing new ideas, supporting local initiatives, and empowering others to pursue their goals. Their efforts not only contribute to the advancement of the community but also cultivate an environment where creativity and progress thrive, making them true champions of forward-thinking.
People’s Choice Award – The People’s Choice Award celebrates a business or organization that has won the hearts and admiration of the community and region. This award is based on popular vote of local citizens, honoring those who have made a significant impact through their outstanding service, innovation, or community engagement.
