Textiles, Preserving, & Conserving – Museum School
Learn how to care for and store precious family textiles such as clothing, tableware, quilts, unframed needlepoint, doilies, and more! See examples from the Museum’s collection of what to do and what NOT to do!
Dacotah Prairie Museum presents a series of 90-minute workshops where you can learn how to preserve your family artifacts and carry on your own family history from professional curators and industry speakers. Space is limited for each session.
Participants for each session will receive a take-home kit ($25+ value) to help you begin protecting your personal keepsakes, courtesy of a community grant from the 3M Foundation.
Participants will work off a different prompt each week!
