All Aberdeen Reads 2022
Everyone loves a story about overcoming great odds. This year’s All Aberdeen Reads title is, “The Moth Presents Occasional Magic: True Stories about Defying the Impossible,” by Catherine Burns. In celebration of this book, the All Aberdeen Reads community event will be a story slam open mic event. Stories from the book will be shared at this event as well as stories from the community. Each storyteller will get 5 minutes to tell their story of defying the impossible. All Aberdeen Reads is a One Book, One Community event that encourages Aberdeen area residents to the read the same book and come together for a community discussion.
