Ruenz’s Roost Lodge accommodates up to 12 guests. Ruenz’s Refuge accommodates 8-12 guests. They are open for your year-round lodging needs, whether you are hunting, exploring the area or just passing through. They can accommodate individual room rentals, or you can bring friends and family and rent the whole lodge.
Pricing for a room starts at $50.00 per person per night. Lodging has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, TV’s and plenty of comfortable seating. The Refuge is equipped with a heated garage to clean your birds. The Roost has four outdoor covered kennels equipped with dog houses for your four-legged hunting companions.
Hunting
Stay with Ruenz’s Roost n’ Refuge and hunt prime public land or we can work closely with Hecla Dakota Hunting Farms and Flatland Flyways to provide you with a premier guided hunting experience.
South Dakota is well known for pheasant hunting! The Hecla area has duck, geese, Tundra swan and deer.
If you have hunting dogs that you want to bring on your trip, they are welcome!
