You have to go a little bit out of your way to get to Aberdeen, South Dakota from most places. It isn’t on Interstate 29, which shoots drivers from Sioux Falls north to Fargo in a practically arrow-straight line, and it isn’t on Interstate 90, which deposits thousands at Mount Rushmore each year.
