Whether you’re looking for a frightful night out or a festive way to make memories with the kids, Aberdeen’s Halloween happenings are sure to bring plenty of treats, a few tricks, and a whole lot of seasonal spirit.

Trick or Treat on Main Street

  • 3-5:30 p.m.
  • Downtown Aberdeen.
  • Free.
  • Bring your little monsters down for some free, exciting and safe family fun! Our Trick or Treat event is the perfect opportunity for kiddos to dress up and trick-or-treat at businesses in downtown Aberdeen. Most participating businesses are on Main Street but you’ll find some on the avenues so watch for sidewalk chalk arrows. We look forward to seeing you!

Groton Downtown Trick or Treat

  • 4-6 p.m.
  • Downtown Groton.
  • Free.
  • Businesses will be handing out candy along Groton’s Main Street the from 4-6pm the night of Halloween.

Mall O Ween

  • 5-7 p.m.
  • Uptown Aberdeen Mall, 3315 Sixth Ave. S.E.
  • Free.
  • Trick or Treat at participating mall stores!

Aberdeen Elks Lodge Entertainment Halloween Party

  • 6-10 p.m.
  • Aberdeen Elks Lodge No. 1046, 705 Circle Drive.
  • Music by Bob Styles.

Allevity’s Halloween Spooktacular

  • 8 p.m. to midnight.
  • Allevity Entertainment, 130 S. Centennial St.
  • $20.
  • Four hours of unlimited attractions and arcade games for $20. No points awarded, crane games and photo booth not included. Costumes are encouraged. Food & drink specials.

Nov. 1

Community Celebration: Viva la Vida: Día de los Muertos

  • 6 p.m.
  • K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E.
  • Free.
  • Grab your offerings for the ofrendas, and join K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library for a uniquely fun family event! Make a garland of paper marigolds, decorate a sugar skull, have a tarot card reading, enjoy some distinctly Día de los Muertos delicacies and of course celebrate family, both past and present!
